Migrating…east

The last week has been “interesting” to say the least. I have been trying to sell my house in Colorado for about 6 months, and after lowering the price twice, I finally got an offer/counter/counter-counter/counter-counter-counter around December 7th that made it sell. That was the good news. The bad news? Had to close on December 14th – and be out by December 16th. So a week’s worth of packing began, followed closely by a throwing out of 2 1/2 truckloads of “junk” – appropriately hauled off by 800gotjunk.com (I am serious). Didn’t get everything done ‘til Sunday the 17th, and then headed off to Indiana with a great friend of mine, Jayne from Georgia. We pulled into my college town in Indiana around 2am Tues morning.

So I am finally located in Indiana – and in the same city as 2 of my newest grandkids…Ady and Xai – both 16 months old. Let the spoiling begin…
